Community Use of Schools
Subject to the availability of facilities for educational purposes, the Board of Education will make school facilities available for public use on a basis that provides priority to activities that enhance community needs and services. Indoor facilities are normally available between the hours of 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm on days when students are in session. Application for times outside of these parameters must be done in writing to the Secretary Treasurer and will only be approved if demonstrated extenuating circumstances exist.
Note that there is a different application process for childcare providers (scroll down further).
New policy, procedures and rates became effective October 2023. Applicants should make themselves aware of all applicable policies and parameters regarding facility rental use by visiting our Administrative Procedures (section 700) and Policies (sections 3000, 500, and 700.)
