SD27- Cariboo-Chilcotin announces the following administrative appointment effective August 1, 2023

Vice-Principal, 100 Mile Elementary School: SD27 is pleased to welcome Ms. Deborah Lynn Dixon to the administrative team. Ms. Dixon is a passionate Indigenous Educator of the Blackfoot, Piikani Nation. Ms. Dixon is familiar with multi-grade classrooms and believes in creating engagement through connectedness and land-based learning. Beyond her classroom experience, she also has her Master of Education (Leadership) as part of her ongoing commitment to learning and leading. Ms. Dixon will be joining Ms. Langton as part of the leadership team.

Ms. Dixon is looking forward to relocating to 100 Mile area as it is an opportunity for her husband and children to return to the Secwépemc territory of the Tsq’escen’ (Canim Lake Band).
