Marie Sharpe Pow Wow

Marie Sharpe Elementary School ended their week with a Pow Wow. The event was the culmination of a school-wide Indigenous Learning project led by Ms. Harry who is retiring this year.

We’d like to thank Chief Willie Sellars, Chief Fred Robbins, and David Archie for dedicating their time to the project. We also extend our deepest gratitude to Cecil Grinder for taking on a leadership role for this project and to the talented dancers who made the Pow Wow a success!
