Starting with Connection

In collaboration with Cariboo Chilcotin Partners for Literacy, Ecole 100 Mile Elementary School and our StrongStart Coordinator hosted an event called Popsicles in the Playground the week before school started. All new Kindergarten students and their families were invited to the school to meet their teachers, do an art activity and enjoy a story in the calm that only a summer playground can bring. Building the bridge between home and school is an important step to ensuring a successful transition to Kindergarten.
