RCMP Making Connections

RCMP are an important community partner to Cariboo-Chicotin School District. Families and community may have noticed members in school zones on the first day and the focus will continue in the coming weeks. Williams Lake Staff Sergeant Brad McKinnon explained, "our presence is intended to support traffic safety, deter potential issues, and provide visible reassuring presence for students, staff and families." They participated in welcoming first day activities in many of our schools as valued members of the school and district community.
