Professional Development in Vancouver

Staff from Big Lake Elementary and Likely Elementary recently participated in the PITA Conference in Vancouver, attending sessions led by Hannah Beach, Carole Fullerton, Andrew Buckley, and other respected educational presenters.

Throughout the conference, staff explored topics focused on student well-being, resilience, belonging, and relationship-based approaches to learning. These sessions provided valuable insights and practical strategies for supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally.

The opportunity to learn alongside educators from across the province reinforced the importance of connection, reflection, and continuous growth in our profession.
