Primary Teachers Learning Together

Many Cataline Elementary teachers attended the Primary Teacher Conference during the Oct. 23 Professional Development Day. Teachers were thrilled to hear from so many educational experts, including primary educators who have worked prior with our Cataline staff.

Teachers listened to keynote speaker and renowned author of Reading Power and Writing Power, Adrienne Gear, as well as attended her primary writing sessions. Teachers also spent time learning about Loose Parts and Story Workshops, led by Mathew McBride, focusing on key areas of our school literacy goals. Our teachers are eager to put their new learning into practice as well as collaborate and share their knowledge with their colleagues.
