Ms. Fast's Class - Salmon Release

Throughout the school year, Ms. Fast's class has been learning about the incredible life cycle of salmon. With a fish tank right in their classroom, students had the opportunity to observe the salmon's development from tiny eggs to growing fry. With the support and expertise of Bill Gilroy, students engaged in meaningful, hands-on learning about the salmon life cycle, habitat, and the important role salmon play in our ecosystems. To celebrate the culmination of their learning, the class travelled to Scout Island, where they released their fry into the lake sending the salmon on the next stage on their remarkable journey.
