Kicking Off Take Me Outside for Learning Week 2026

Classes kicked off Take Me Outside for Learning Week with a virtual visit from author Leona Prince, author of Be a Good Ancestor. Students then took their reflections and learning outdoors, using their sit spots in the forest.

Students in Mrs. Sache's class took time to observe their surroundings. They then sketched what they saw and reflected on their connection to the land. The class will continue to use these "sit spots" for future learning activities.

To conclude the lesson, students enjoyed a game of Eagle Eye.
