Jess Dance

Our Cataline community had the opportunity embrace Peace, Love, Unity, and Fun, the message behind the Jess Dance Academy, who visited Cataline Elementary school this past February. Led by Jess Dance instructor, Shyia Gray, students spent two days participating in a full-body, full-heart experience that uplifted, energized, and inspired our students, through the art of Hip Hop dance. Students learned about the history/cultural significance of the Afro-American dance style, as well as the core dance values that were presented. It was a couple of fast-paced, fun and energizing days for everyone to enjoy!
