Cataline Elementary
Cataline Grade 6 students could not have had a better start to their final year of elementary school. They began their Grade 6 experience with a three-day camp at the Gavin Lake Forest Education Centre.
Students spent their time participating in a variety of outdoor learning activities, including orienteering, canoeing, archery, climbing, bug and animal investigations, nature hikes, and more. While there were many educational experiences, students said that some of their favorite memories will be the delicious food, bedtime cabin stories, playing Man Tracker under the stars, and, of course, roasting marshmallows around the moonlit campfire.
What a wonderful way to kick off the school year, bring our student leaders together, and create lifelong memories and friendships.
