Indigenous Learning: Weaving Culture & Kindness

We were honoured to welcome Nenqayni Wellness Centre Society to work alongside our students. They shared teachings about dream catchers—their purpose & meaning. Students thoughtfully created their own dream catchers, taking pride in their work.

In the spirit of Pink Shirt Day, we also focused on acts of kindness and inclusion. Students wrote heartfelt notes of encouragement and appreciation to each classmate. The room was filled with smiles and quiet excitement as envelopes were opened and kind words were read. It was a powerful reminder of how words can uplift, connect, and strengthen our school community.
