Indigenous Hand Drum Teachings

SD27 StrongStart Educators had the opportunity to attend an instructional session on April 30, 2026 at 100 Mile Elementary school. We welcomed Ryan Christopher and Mike Archie from Tsqescen First Nation (Canim Lake) to share their knowledge and guide us in making hand drums to share with StrongStart families. Educators are looking forward to expanding their knowledge and learning more songs to share with families during StrongStart sessions.
