Columneetza Junior Secondary
Columneetza Cares is a leadership collaboration between caring staff members and spirited, leadership-minded students. Over the past several years, the group has led the school community to fundraise and donate to organizations such as Terry Fox, women's shelter's, and The Salvation Army; and donated countless items for food, clothing, and toy drives.
This year, Columneetza Cares is partnering with the Foundry to open pathways for students supports in the community, and the Foundry is stepping back up to provide youth outreach at our school. They visited in September and heard overwhelmingly that students would like more lunchtime activities in the gym. Soon, they’ll visit once a week to support those activities.
