Building Confidence and Consistency for New Learning Support Teachers

A big thank you to Erin Pederson for hosting our new and nearly new Learning Support Teacher (LST) team today. The session provided an opportunity for staff to connect, build confidence in their roles, and strengthen their understanding of key systems and processes that support inclusive education across our district.

By bringing our LSTs together, we are creating greater consistency in practice, ensuring common expectations, and developing shared approaches that help schools work collaboratively. These opportunities not only support professional growth but also strengthen the network of educators who play such an important role in student success.

We are grateful for Erin's leadership in supporting our LST team as they begin the school year with the tools, knowledge, and connections needed to make a positive impact in their schools.
