BIG on STEM

We enjoyed the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Williams Lake Careers in STEM Exploration Event today! Thank you to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Williams Lake for organizing the event and to Thompson Rivers University (TRU) for being such gracious hosts.

Public- and private-sector employers from across the region presented to and worked with students in Grades 7-9. Through hands-on activities and conversations with professionals from a variety of fields, students learned about careers in local government and industry.

Thank you to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Williams Lake and Cenovus Energy, the event sponsor, for providing such a valuable learning opportunity.
