Tsilhqot'in Cultural Sites & Language Tour

Tsilhqot'in language teacher Linda Jack brought four classes out onto the land. Knowledge keepers Melannie Johnny, Angie Stump, and Sherain Pigeon were amazing hosts. They shared the history of the Tsiyi site, the Tsilhqot'in Warrior site, and the Four Dogs site. Students were provided with written materials about the sites in both Tsilhqot'in and English. Much to the delight of the Knowledge Keepers, the students were able to sing songs with them, as Linda had taught these songs during her language classes. It was a beautiful day.
