Tatla Lake Elementary/Junior
At Tatla Lake School, we are grateful for our growing partnership with Nenqayni Wellness Centre Society and the meaningful connections being built with our students each month. Through this partnership, Nenqayni staff visit our school regularly to share Indigenous culture, traditions, teachings, and ways of knowing in an engaging and respectful way.
These visits have created opportunities for students to learn through stories, activities, and hands-on experiences that strengthen understanding, respect, and community connection. More importantly, strong relationships have been formed between students, staff, and the Nenqayni team, helping foster a sense of belonging and shared learning within our school community.
This partnership reflects CCSD27’s commitment to Collective Responsibility by working together with community organizations to support student learning, well-being, and cultural understanding. We are thankful for the knowledge, care, and guidance the Nenqayni staff continue to share with our students and school community.
