Take Me Outside For Learning - Day 4 - Leaf Crowns

Even our youngest students take advantage of the outdoors and place-based learning. As an integral part of child development and early learning, Teacher Norma, our Cataline Strong Start coordinator, emphasizes the importance of exploring the outdoors through play and imagination. Each day, families and their children are invited to attend the outside session of the program where children have the opportunity to explore and play throughout the school's vast playground or participate in outdoor learning activities. Today, children roamed around the playground looking for various types of leaves to create imaginative and beautiful crowns.
