September Professional Development

Educators embarked on an exciting learning journey as we explored the book Very Last First Time by Jan Andrews and Ian Wallace. Participants created felt story pieces for use in their classrooms and shared ideas for student engagement and curricular connections during our learning circle.

Educators were also invited to explore a story provocation filled with elements that recreated the story’s landscape, including wind, dark caverns, candlelight, and ice. Everyone left inspired by the many experiential learning opportunities this rich story invites.
