Ribbon Shirt Workshop

Students at Peter Skene Ogden Secondary recently took part in a meaningful Indigenous Ribbon Shirt Makers Workshop, learning not only about traditional sewing techniques but also about the cultural significance behind these garments. Guided by local Indigenous knowledge keepers, participants created their own ribbon shirts — expressions of identity, pride, and respect for Indigenous heritage.
