Orange Shirt Day at MSE

Marie Sharpe was a “Sea of Orange” today as we came together to recognize Orange Shirt Day tomorrow.

Two of our classes attended the Orange Shirt Day event at the Williams Lake First Nation Arbor, while our other six classes spent time learning about Orange Shirt Day here at school.

One particularly special moment was when our student Francesca hand delivered a letter she had written to Phyllis Webstad at the event. How special! Thank you, Phyllis, for taking the time to take a photo with Francesca and for making this such a memorable moment for her.
