Letter Buddies

Throughout the year, Cataline students have help foster and engage our primary literacy program through "Letter Buddies", a literacy buddy system where older students have been trained to mentor and teach our younger students letter recognition and phonics. Not only does this help reinforce the foundation literacy skills taught in the classroom, but also helps build relationships and a sense of community.
