Tatla Lake Elementary/Junior
Tatla Lake School was honoured to host a Lahal Tournament, welcoming students and staff from Anahim Lake School, Naghtaneqed School, and Nagwuntl'oo School. The day was filled with excitement, learning, laughter, and a deep sense of community connection.
We were grateful for the support of Densiqi Services Society staff, who attended to guide students who are still learning to play. They offered encouragement, instruction, and cultural context, helping deepen students’ understanding of the significance of the game.
Events like this strengthen relationships between neighbouring schools and communities. They provide space for students to build pride in culture, connect with one another, and experience reconciliation in action.
