Indigenous Education Council

On October 5, the first Indigenous Education Council (IEC) meeting of the year was held. It was a collaborative meeting focused on student success. The main topic of discussion was the budget and determining how targeted funds would be allocated to improve the educational experience for students.

The team also explored other areas within the district where presentations and feedback would be valuable. The IEC was thanked for its valuable input, which helped make District Day a success. The terms of reference were reviewed, and we would like to congratulate Rosalie Montgomery and Michelle Archie on being re-elected as co-chairs of the group.
