Growing with Community Support: Exploring Life Cycles Through Chicken Eggs

This Spring, Big lake students are engaged in hands-on learning experiences centered around life cycles. Most recently - chicken eggs! We are incredibly grateful to a local family who generously donated fertilized eggs, giving our students a unique opportunity to observe and learn about development from the very beginning stages of life. With the support of PAC funding, we were able to gather all the necessary supplies, including an incubator, thermometer, and materials to safely monitor and care for the eggs. This support has made it possible for students to engage in meaningful, real-world science learning right in our classroom.
