Cataline Elementary
Once again, Cataline grade 4 students had the very fortunate opportunity to partner up with Gavin Lake Forest Education Society to participate in the over night spring program. This is the second year in a row that the Gavin Lake Society has hosted Cataline students, providing them with the rich, accessible outdoor learning opportunity. Students were introduced to various learning modules including bouldering 101, camping 101, and a cool lesson about lichens. Students enjoyed camp life, sharing stories and laughs around the campfire, eating delicious camp meals in the hall, and sleeping in the wild nestled in cozy cabins. For some of our campers, this was the first time camping away from home, and it will be an experience they will not forget!
