Gr. 5/6 Drumming Introduction with Danikka Murphy

Grade 5/6 students at Cataline were honoured to welcome Ms. Danikka Murphy from WLFN who shared her own learnings and expertise about the drum. As Cataline students and classes continue with including drumming into regular practice, it was great to hear Ms. Murphy’s stories and knowledge about the importance of the drum with in the Secwepemc culture. Ms. Murphy will be joining Cataline through out the school year to support the grade 6 students as they complete their own drum.
