Fun Learning Adventures at Gavin Lake

The students had a fantastic time at Gavin Lake, learning about toads and frogs, practicing orientation skills, and trying their hand at archery. We finished the day with a long hike to a beautiful viewpoint. The students loved being outdoors, discovering the animals that live around them, and showing off their archery skills. It was truly one of the best days of the year — filled with land‑based learning and meaningful engagement from start to finish. A huge thank‑you to Gavin Lake for their incredible support and partnership with the district.
