Focus on Fluency & Comprehension!

What a fantastic workshop with Julie Knevel during our April 24 Professional Development Day!

At the beginning of the year, Julie taught a Pro-D Workshop on how to use the 6 Minute Solution in classrooms. Some teachers have reported back that it is the number one most effective strategy they have ever used in their classroom to improve all students' overall fluency.

In this workshop, Julie taught us about what to do "Beyond the 6 Minute Solution" and concentrated mostly on the importance of also teaching comprehension. It was a fullfilling and incredibly useful workshop.
