Fall Harvest

A beautiful fall day spent digging in the garden! Our students helped harvest potatoes that will be used in our school lunch program, connecting outdoor learning with our school community and the food we share together. Our primary students especially loved discovering all the worms and other little signs of life in the soil!

A big thank you to John and Anne Porter for generously donating the potatoes and giving our students the opportunity to learn by getting their hands in the soil. We are grateful for the many ways our community helps make learning at Tatla Lake meaningful and connected to place.
