Early Learning Opportunities at Strong Start Centers

Beulah Smith, Early Learning Coordinator presented to School District Trustees and District Staff on how Strong Start Centers are providing rich learning environments that invite young children and families to participate in place-based learning grounded in B.C.'s early Learning Framework. There are 10 Strong Start Centers in School District 27, each situated at school sites, staffed with an Early Childhood Educator that promotes early learning to help facilitate family engagement and a strong foundation for successful transitions to kindergarten.
