Building Trauma-Informed & Resilient Schools

SD27 staff joined Ronda Ziakris from the Calgary MNP office for a pair of 2-day sessions. Staff learned about how the human brain is affected by trauma then collaborated, discussed and learned about strategies to bring back to their school sites. With a focus on the Circle of Courage, staff are better equipped to build relationships and support the social and emotional development of all students.
