Autumn Scout Island Adventures

Ms. LeBourdais and Mrs. Hopkins grade 1/2 classes went to Scout Island this past week. Students got to go on a nature walk and look at how the plants and animals are changing and getting ready for winter. With the guidance of Martin Kruus and his Scout Island staff, students also participated in a color scavenger hunt, a literacy walk to find the secret message, and ended with learning a new game about squirrels getting ready for winter and collecting food. It was a wonderful day!
