Official Opening - New Childcare Facility

Thanks so much to everyone who was able to join us on Friday for the Official Opening of the new Child Care facility – Kid Care Childcare at Columneetza. We were so happy to have local government representatives, School Trustees, Senior Staff from School District 27, as well as partners from the City of Williams Lake and Interior Health join us for this wonderful event. We would also like to thank the Ministry of Education and Child Care for their support. A special thanks to the Williams Lake First Nations Cultural team for starting us off with an opening and territory acknowledgement. The staff from Women’s Contact Society was on hand to provide a tour of the facility and showcase each of the rooms that children will be enjoying as they learn and play together.
