Tatla Lake Elementary Junior Secondary Students got to work with singer songwriter Norman Foote. Norman has visited the area many times to work with other schools, so when he contacted Principal Kimberley Ikebuchi saying that he would be in the area, Ms. Ikebuchi invited him to join them for some song writing sessions and a concert.
Norman worked with the Grade 4-7 class to co-write the Chilcotin Song featured in this video.
