Take Me Outside Day

Take Me Outside for Learning Poster

October 20 was National Take Me Outside Day. Teachers across the district celebrated the day with outdoor learning with their classes and accessed programming for educators and students provided by TMO Canada this week including a virtual conversation with Jane Goodall. Some examples can be seen at #sd27TMO4L and #TMO4Lsd27.

At least 76 Cariboo-Chilcotin educators committed to the TMO4L Yearlong challenge! They can be seen sporting TMO t-shirts to help visually message this priority. They will be accessing resources, invited to online professional learning opportunities, and networking with colleagues across Canada as they take their classes outdoors for learning at least once a week over the full school year.
