Welcome to the Cariboo-Chilcotin School Board Teacher on Call Recruitment Web Page!

The Cariboo-Chilcotin School Board has a large Teachers On-Call list for the purpose of assigning teachers to vacancies on a day to day or short term basis (less than twenty days). The on-call list is dynamic in that it varies in size throughout the year as many of the candidates move into teaching positions. Most often, the teachers within the Cariboo-Chilcotin School District have worked as a Teacher On-Call (TOC) before posting into a temporary or continuing teaching position. Working as a TOC for the Cariboo-Chilcotin School Board can, and often does, lead to more permanent teaching opportunities.

How Do I Apply?

To be considered for the TTOC list, you will need to provide a comprehensive resume which includes three professional references, new teachers should include practica reports. In addition please provide a copy of your teaching certificate, a copy of your BC TQS, and a copy of your current status with the BC Minsitry of Education Teacher Regulation Branch. Our preferred method of receiving applications is via email, however you may fax or mail directly to the Human Resources Department.
