The Cariboo-Chilcotin School Board is both an urban and rural School District with many opportunities for teachers. In order to meet the specific needs of our students, various school configurations have been established including:
- K - 7, K - 9, 8 - 12, and 10 - 12 Regular Programs
- K - 7, 8 - 12, and 10 - 12 French Immersion Programs
- K - 9 Regular Programs
- 8 - 9 Regular Junior High Programs
- A number of Alternate programs at the Secondary School Level
- A number of Adult Education and Distributed Learning Programs
School District #27 (Cariboo-Chilcotin) posts all its external jobs on-line through Make a Future - Careers in BC Education www.makeafuture.ca.
The Make a Future - Careers in BC Education site is powered by applytoeducation.com. Therefore, if you have an existing account with them, you can use your username and password to log into www.makeafuture.ca. If not, you can create an account on Make a Future - Careers in BC Education by clicking ‘Register'.

School District No. 27 is now accepting teacher applications from external applicants year round through applytoeducation. We encourage all external applicants to apply to our District on-line through eithier one of these web site. Before you can be considered for a teaching job in British Columbia, you must hold a current B.C. Teaching Certificate and be a member of the British Columbia College of Teachers.

Remember, you will not be considered for a teaching position, or for a position on the Employee On-Call list with the Cariboo-Chilcotin School District until you have been issued your British Columbia Teacher's Certificate or a letter of eligibility.
